Water-Supply, Wastewater and Stormwater Infrastructure

STREAM Sh.p.k. provides engineering studies and hydraulic planning support for water-supply, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure in Albania. Services help municipalities, utilities, developers and design teams assess existing systems, compare investment options and define rehabilitation or development projects.

Which infrastructure systems are covered?

System Engineering scope
Water supply Demand and source assumptions, storage, transmission and distribution networks, pressure and pumping conditions.
Wastewater Collection networks, gravity sewers, pumping stations, capacity constraints, infiltration/inflow evidence and connections to treatment.
Stormwater Catchment runoff, drainage networks, open channels, culverts, outfalls, storage and pumping, including receiving-water levels.

How can master planning and rehabilitation be supported?

Compile an asset and data baseline, assess service and capacity constraints, identify critical locations and compare staged interventions. Combined and separate sewer systems are distinguished. Options can examine rehabilitation, network extension, separation of flows, storage and pumping, with constructability, access, operation and maintenance considered at the agreed level of detail.

What can hydraulic design and review include?

Hydrological inputs, design-flow assumptions, network or channel hydraulic analysis, levels, capacity, pumping conditions and checks of crossings or discharge points. Coastal stormwater systems may require joint consideration of rainfall, sea or lagoon levels and pumping availability. The design stage, model tools, calculations, drawings, quantities and technical specifications are defined in the proposal.

What data and outputs are required?

Provide network plans, terrain and survey references, manhole and culvert information, flow or consumption records, pumping data, condition surveys, receiving-water information and existing studies. Outputs can include a checked asset register, GIS layers, hydraulic models, option comparisons, phased investment recommendations and agreed design or tender-document inputs.

How is the project team defined?

STREAM’s hydrological and hydraulic scope is coordinated with survey, treatment-process, environmental, structural, geotechnical and electromechanical specialists as required. Detailed design, permitting support and construction supervision have explicitly agreed responsibilities and applicable professional requirements. Wastewater treatment-process design is not implied by a sewer-network assessment.
